Deputy Chief of Police - Scott Douglass

I am Scott Douglass the Deputy Chief of the Roswell Police Department. I moved to Roswell in 1982. I have experience in business management, gas & oil, and worked as a Basic EMT. I started my law enforcement career in 1991 with the Roswell Police Department.

When I started with this department I wanted to work in all aspects of law enforcement. I was blessed with the many opportunities and moved through every division. I have experienced, firsthand, the advantages of department the size of Roswell’s.

Our department is large enough to have specialty departments yet small enough to have tight kinship of officers. We have better equipment than most, larger departments and the ability to diversify your work experience is unmatched. You will have ample opportunity to move to different divisions and seek your ideal field of expertise.
