Pecos Valley Regional Communications Center
The Roswell Police Department is served by the Pecos Valley Regional Communications Center. The PVRCC serves as the hub of the day to day operations of the Police Department, Sheriff's Department and both City and County Fire Departments. During emergency situations communications becomes the center of activity for both police and fire.
With an authorized strength of 18 including one Director of Operations, the communications staff is primarily responsible for nine emergency 911 lines, one seven digit administrative line, three direct dial personnel lines, and a total of seventeen radio frequencies that include police, sheriff, fire, animal control and court security.
